Lost in a Research Induced Haze? Wozworld Quick Guides to the Rescue!

In response to the many requests that I get for help with some pretty basic research procedures, I have created a series of help guides to give a quick path for nine specific research tasks.  On the side of this blog, check out the Wozworld Quick Guides to Research page.  Topics range from ordering a book from the McKeldin Library at College Park to accessing ejournals and databases from off campus.  And if you don’t know what an ILLiad account is, my friend, then you can wipe that frown off your brow with a visit to the quick guides page.  You will find each of the nine guides in pdf format for easy viewing and printing.  I tried to pick the tasks that are requested the most through email and phone consultations, but if you have a suggestion for a specific topic not yet in the set, feel free to leave a post.   When my web page gets its face-lift in August, it will also feature a link for the guides.  Each guide is two pages in length and designed in an easy to follow format with screen shots and lots of visuals.  Who said research is for the elite?  With Wozworld Quick Guides everybody can jump in!
